Your Hyundai has thousands of parts and most are covered under the Comprehensive Limited Warranty for up to 5 years or 100,000 km. This coverage includes the repair or replacement of those parts and the associated labour costs. There are some parts that are covered for a shorter period of time or have lower mileage. Adjustments are covered for 1 year or 20,000 km, while batteries are covered for 2 years or 40,000 km. For other more aesthetic components like paint, radio, and sound systems are covered for up to 3 years or 60,000 km.

Under the Powertrain Limited Warranty, powertrain components requiring repairs or replacements are protected for up to 5 years or 100,000 km. This includes specific engine, transmission/transaxle, and 4WD components. This coverage is included with every new Hyundai vehicle, and for those purchasing a pre-owned Hyundai, coverage may still be included depending on the current year and mileage of the vehicle.

The body of your Hyundai is made of sheet metal that can corrode over time. For up to 5 years or 100,000 km, any perforation or corrosion that affects any component through the sheet metal from the lower window line downwards and happens from the inner to the outer surface will be covered. It's critical to schedule a service appointment for your vehicle promptly if you see any corrosion to avoid additional damage to your Hyundai.
